SSG Paul Monroe

Though he was born in New York, SSG Monroe calls the great state of South Carolina home (go Gamecocks).  SSG Monroe entered the Army at Fort Sill in 1995.  He spent his first two years in the Army as an artilleryman. He spent six years in the National Guard and two years in the reserves before he returned to active duty with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team 101ST Airborne Division where he was a public affairs NCO. SSG Monroe and his wife Keisha have four children who he calls “the joy of my life.” When he’s not driving limousines for the rich and famous or trying to save the world with his banana suit he’s hard at work at AFN Wiesbaden, the place he calls “the best broadcast operations detachment this side of heaven.”
